In the current scenario of depleting forest resources, I think the only way of sustainably managing these resources is by making the industries responsible. So, I believe that Forestry certification schemes like FSC and PEFC have an important role to play in ensuring the protection of these limited resources for the generations to come, by preventing over-exploitation and ensuring sustainable management of forest resource. I enjoy working with companies to ensure sustainability in their value chains and provide them advice to understand the compliance to the certification standards.
