Course content
The seminar is based on our EU-recognised LegalSource Due Diligence System and NEPCon’s national risk assessments available on the NEPCon Sourcing Hub. In addition to gaining a good overview of key timber market regulations such as the EUTR, you will become familiar with key due diligence aspects and be equipped with in-depth knowledge of how to address them in practice. The day includes practical exercises based on real-world scenarios and examples. Group exercises help bring the theory to life and create a social and enjoyable atmosphere. In addition, speakers will bring you up to date about the current status of NGO reports and government checks in regulated markets and share their experiences. You will also have a chance to hear from suppliers and buyers about the best practices and challenges in the implementation of DDS.
This seminar is conducted mainly in English with translation to French language. One of the expert present is also fluent in Chinese language.
